BOOK LISTS
3RD GRADE - 2017-2018
Reading is so important in the lives of our children. The Bible is our first book of choice. It's how we begin our school days and prepare our minds for learning. Reading helps children identify relationships, culture, social norms, dialogue, ethics, as well as structure, style, imagination and more. I try to incorporate a great variety: books that they can see themselves in, books that promote imagination, positive self-esteem, and great attitudes! Books that teach about differences, acceptance, and indivudality. Books that promote endurance, hard-work, compassion and empathy. It is our tool to responding to the world around us!
